Car is in FL, I am in MA. Car has been on charger since May 11. Started with charge at 65%, today it is at 58%. Charger set to start recharging when level hits 50%. No problem until today.
Ford App normally reads “connected, not charging” today it reads “charging paused”
Any ideas?

Maybe the car put itself into a storage state since it hasn't been touched since May 11?

Let's see what happens when your state of charge drops below 50%.

I was just thinking about this one statement.

How does your EVSE know when the vehicle's state of charge is at 50%?

The vehicle doesn't share that information with an EVSE. And the vehicle lets us set a maximum state of charge, but not a minimum. So I'm not sure how this can be possible.

If there was a power failure at the house the EVSE will wait for a random amount of time up to 30 minutes, when power returns, before it allows charging to resume.

My understanding is that the vehicle regulates when to receive the charge. So I set the max charge to 50% and the car will not accept a charge from the evse until the battery level drops below 50 %
