Charger Status in Maps

Hi,
I'm evaluating a few EVs as our next car. Mach E is one of the finalist together with the Model Y. I would like to know if the Mach-E map would display the various chargers and its occupancy kinda like what Tesla does for its Superchargers?

Secondly, would the route planning app incorporate when and where to stop for charging based on the BMS?

The nav has real-time availability status for most charging networks. Tesla integration does not include that yet, but it is likely in the next update, since the Fordpass app has the real-time status. Pricing is in the station info also.

The Charge assist app in the car has real-time status even for Tesla, but that app only works when parked.

Not in live Ford Navigation - YET.

Currently only Public Charging / Charge Assist app shows the number of stations available only when stopped.

Thanks! I need to take the MachE for a longer test drive. I wonder if my local Ford allow overnight evaluation. My previous drive did not cover the infotainment because the salesguy didn't know how to operate it. At one point he led me to a Lincoln Cosair.

Tesla let me have their Model Y for the weekend for a proper evaluation undergoing typical family activities and tried out its Supercharger for free.

How about my second question regarding trip planning that incorporates charging stations along the way based on measured BMS?

The phone app has a trip planner that calculates arrival and departure SoC for each stop. You create the trip on the phone, then send it to the car. You can also connect Apple Maps to the car battery and use that for trip planning, but then lose the preconditioning.

I sure wish we could "create the trip on the phone, then send it to the car" like we could back in April 2024. So nostalgic for The Old Days when stuff like this just worked.
