Charging Mach E on BP pulse

Returning from London to Wales yesterday, I used a BP pulse CCS charger at BP station A4 at Hammersmith.
I assumed that my Ford Pass card would be recognised but machine said it was not valid.
How do I access the free charge on BP Pulse as I paid as a guest on my credit card? If I register for Pulse there’s a monthly charge apparently.

I could only charge on bp pulse using the app and paying using the app.

As a subscription member, get free charging at selected bp pulse points. The first three months' subscription is on us. From pulse7 to pulse150, we've got the speed you need. Charge how you like with an access card, key fob or with our app.

You don't get "free" charging on BP Pulse with your Ford Pass charging card, only "free" subscription for 1 year, which means you get better rates than a non subscription member but not as good as a BP Pulse subscription member. Have you ' activated' your Fordpass charging card. You can check this in your subscriptions tab on your Ford account on the website. If you have and it still doesn't work then I would suggest you contact the FordPass team at [email protected]. My Fordpass charging card works fine with BP Pulse. I have a BP Pulse charger near me and always go to it to double check before I go anywhere away from home.

Cheers I get that now ( I was wondering as the wording was confusing). I’ll contact them. My Ford Pass is activated as I’ve used it elsewhere.

Unfortunately, I had some bad experience with BP Pulse as well. Tried on 3 different days in 5 locations and non of them would recognise FordPass account. I called BP team and they claimed everything is fine on their end (didn't speak with FordPass team though). The account works great with other networks.

same problem had a problem open ticket open with Ford for 2 months.Still not fixed my account.

Finally fixed; new rfid issued and all is now good.
