Not double like you think. The following are not actual, but estimated numbers, but should be close. You're getting the standard battery. Let's say it takes 70 kWh to charge it. At 48A, that's about 11 kW, so 70/11 = 6.4 hours. At 32A, that's about 7 kW, so 70/7 = 10 hours. That's about, 50% faster, not almost 100%. Also, you are charged by the power you use, not the current. Your cost for charging at 32A or 48A will be similar. You will save a little money when you charge at 240V compared to 120V.Doesn't it take much longer to charge at 32A? 15hrs compared to 8 hrs with the 48a plus less electricity?
