Edit:
The following data is for the Select model as it has a slower charging curve than the ER battery. I've seen data reported after 21P22 update, but that was for ER battery. In case anyone is looking for data points for Select, read on...
Original:
While getting my windshield recall done, my dealer applied the 21P22 Customer Satisfaction Program update on my Select MME. I knew it was going to improve the DC Fast Charging speed beyond 80%, but I didn't know by how much until now (thanks to EA's free charging on Earth Day).
Before update: 80% charging speed drops significantly to 9-10kW (basically level 2 speed)
After update: 80% charging speed is at 32kW (dropped from 49kW @ 79%)
Temperate was about 60F. I usually don't fast charge to a high SOC, but just to get more data, I let it charge to 91%.
At 90%, it was still charging at 32kW.
At 91%, it dropped to 26kW.
Other notes (not related to the update):
Since I have the Select model, the max charging speed is not 150kW. A long time ago, I read that it is 115kW max (if I remember correctly). I started charging at 38% SOC and I did briefly see charging at 114kW. It was very brief, but maybe it would have been longer if I started charging at a lower SOC.
