Over Charging past 80%

Today my MME charged to 100% even though FP is set to 80%. I noticed this soon after plugging it in. I tried a couple times to adjust and save the max charge rate but FP still showed it will charge to 100%. Any ideas what may be wrong? TIA

Check your FordPass settings for that charge location. Verify that it's set to "use preferred charge settings" and not "charge when plugged in."

The former will honor your charge setting limits. The latter goes to full 100%.

If above does not work, delete your "charge location" and add it in again. That worked for me. Its a bug in Fordpass.

No OTA, I've had 1.7 for a couple months. It is going into the dealer next week to hopefully get a dozen or more updates.

My car does this consistently. I have been managing it manually. I did try all the "tricks." Haven't bothered to talk to dealer yet.

Mine is ignoring the 90% charge limit too. I've double checked that the FP settings are correct, that the car is set to limit to 90% and even removed and added the location again. It still targets 100% charge every time. It's likely something for the dealer to check and address.
