Charging Station

Guys, I am new to the forum, and to the EV world. I am about to take my first trip to Charleston, SC (from Charlotte, NC), and I am wondering whether finding a charging station would be a problem. I checked the app and it appears that there ain't a lot of charging stations in Charleston. Should I be concerned? also, what is the best adapter to be able use a Tesla Supercharging station? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

PlugShare is an excellent resource for station finding. You can even tap on a station and see recent check-ins from other drivers which let you know how well it is or isn't operating. It will also show you payment info, photos, etc. PlugShare is available on the web and on phone app stores.

You can't charge at a Tesla Supercharger until it's retrofitted to support non-Teslas. Right now in North America that's only a tiny number of stations.

There is no adapter for Tesla Superchargers.

There is an ElectrifyAmerica in North Charleston. I would charge in Columbia, SC to 80%, then again in North Charleston. If you need local charging in Charleston, find it on PlugShare.
