I have an annoying sound from the steering wheel, which seems to be triggered on specific positions of the wheel, on both sides. It doesn't matter if the car is moving or standing still.

Weird! It kind of sounds like the turn signal stalk trying to reset. You might try doing that while holding the turn signal, and see if you can feel it happening, which would at least give you an idea of where to start, if it was noticeably that. I don't know quite how those stalks get set up to reset when you use your turn signal, but I suppose it's possible that something has gone wrong with that mechanism...

I've had the same "issue" since I took delivery in 2022. Seems odd, but so far it's been a "feature" of the steering column.

Did you ever try and get it warrantied? I just got a pre-owned 2023 and mine does this exact issue as in the video.

I did not. Maybe at some point. but to be honest it doesn't really bother me.

Hmm okay. I wanna take it in, just worried it might get worse once the warranty is expired. My entire plastic piece where the stalks are attached to move slightly too when I turn the wheel.

Owner of a 2024 Prem RWD for 7 mos now. I also have a sharp, brief click when I turn my wheel slightly to the right to straighten out the vehicle after changing into a left lane. Actually doesn't occur every time. Never hear it with full 90° turns. It isn't quite as loud as in your video so it took me awhile to figure out where it was coming from. Will have Ford check it out but it doesn't really affect anything otherwise. Anyone hear from their dealer yet about this noise? (I know this is a pie in the sky question.)

I got this fixed now. They changed the turn signal stalk, and the sound was gone.

Had this on another car a few years ago. Went away when I tightened the turn signal stalk mount on the steering column.
