Searched the forums and wasn't able to find a similar issue.

My '23 Select AWD Standard will very intermittently turn climate control on while I'm driving. I cannot replicate the issue. I thought sun hitting the infotainment system was causing the issues. However, it happened again yesterday a couple of times with no sun, and seemed to occur when I was slowing down and going into a roundabout.

Sometimes the AC will get turned on full blast; sometimes to level 1. Sometimes the temperature will move a few degrees up and down. Yesterday, the passenger side seat warmer turned on.

On most drives, this will never happen but on some drives it will happen several times. I haven't taken it into the dealer yet because I can't consistently replicate it and it is so intermittent. It's just bizarre to be driving and hear the 'beep-beep' of the climate system moving by itself

Has anyone encountered this before? Is there a TSB for a possessed Mach-E?

Hi there! I can look into your Mach-E's AC concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your Mach-E's VIN?

Do you have a screen protector in the center screen? I had issues with random ghost taps and swipes on my iPad when I had a screen protector on it. ?‍♂?

No screen protector. I was thinking a screen protector might fix the issue if it's being caused by sunlight. I've had other touchscreen devices have issues with the Sun, so that's my best guess. Just seems to happen without Sun shining on it sometimes

I have had the sudden air conditioner blasting thing a few times. I have a 23 Select AWD also. I haven't been able to identify what might trigger it, but as far as problems go, I'll take it ?

Are you sure nothing is touching the screen? Such as a phone charger cable? Or liquid droplets?

If there is absolutely nothing touching the screen and it's registering button presses, then you might need a new display.

Nothing is touching, or even coming close to touching. My best guess is sunlight, as I've had other touch-input devices(smartboard) act similarly due to direct sunlight. I'll keep trying to figure out a cause.

Seems pointless to take it to the dealer since it's happening so rarely and I can't consistently replicate the issue

Yeah, I messaged them. It was not a useful conversation at all.
I had once also about collision assist, Just make sure nothing is around screen. And schedule for a check up?
