Has anyone had that terrifying drive home when you realize you should have charged up more at your last stop? I’ve had my Mach e for a couple months, I was driving home to Western PA from a business trip in Philadelphia. I stopped in State College for a charge with 25 extra extra miles than I needed. I wasn’t paying attention to my battery percentage, I was on Rt. 80, passing truck stops but no chargers to be found. I made it home with 2% and 5 miles, whew! I think the fact that the temperature was 31 degrees outside may have contributed to the quick decline in power. Thoughts?

I've gotten down to 16 miles indicated range in the Tesla, and I think 23 in the GT. I can't imagine the pucker factor at 5.

Ironically only in ice vehicles.
As I was driving in to a gas station and pulling up to the pump it cut out on me, coasted in to the right spot.
Not looking to repeat in the ev!

Yes, I also live in western Pennsylvania and was driving on route 80 last weekend. I made it home with zero left. They seem to give you a little extra however it was a scary situation. I charged up to 90 miles range in Clarion with 77 miles home thinking I had some wiggle room. I’m not getting the range that I thought I would wear that the dashboard tells me I have.

The lowest I've had our Mustang is 13%, but that was deliberately skipping a DCFC on the way home knowing that despite the snow storm I could make it. I usually don't take any vehicle below 25%. I've run out of gas and walked through the desert too many times...

Happened to me too on my '99 Mustang. I didn't know the fuse on my 'low fuel' light had blown. I always used my 'trip' mile indicator after every fillup to see how far I would get on a tank of gas, and was wondering how I had gone 40 miles farther than I ever had before. I started to head towards a gas station, and three minutes later I ran out of gas. Luckily I made it to within two blocks of the station and got a cheap gas can at the station to fill up.
