Coating on Factory Wheels from Factory?

Do the stock wheels have a factory coating on them like a ceramic? I just bought a 22 select. The original owner never even took off the little stickers off the wheels. While I was washing them I noticed they are very slick to the touch like they have a coating on them. I was just wondering if they come that way from the factory? I do not think he did anything to them because they still have the factory stickers on them.

I haven't looked carefully enough at the wheels on my GTPE to compare, but it's rather obvious that the wheels on my 2022 KingRanch F150 have a really nice protective coating.

They are 2-tone to match the classic KingRanch accent color. They look as perfect today, as they did 2 ½ years ago.

That is my best friend (granddaughter) who is my assistant in rotating the tires. Or just about anything I do in the barn, for that matter.

Yeah I was kind of shocked at how slick they felt being 2 years old.

Always nice to have a second pair of hands.
