Compliments from random people

Just want to share what I have been getting since owning our 2022 Mustang Mach-E roughly 11 weeks ago. I am pleasantly surprised to receive quick and random compliments from random people I see out on the street, in parking lots, in my work place etc about how good it looks and our color choice as well. I am not used to it but I am not complaining (of course). Ours is not even the GT, the premium or the California Route 1 trim level. Makes me have happy thoughts with our decision to get it. I am sure many of you have the same experience with yours.

My house is next to road and every 10th car is a Tesla(white color)

It seems to have died down recently but when I first got it you would have thought I was driving a Lamborghini. Pointing and tapping their partner on the shoulder were common place. People taking pictures with it parked at a restaurant.

I had a guy get out of his car at a stop light and walk back to me to ask about it. A girl waved me around on the highway one day so she could get a picture.

Partly, I assume this is the result of people not knowing what it was and thinking it was much more glamorous than reality. The rest was just people not used to seeing non-tesla EV's in fly over country.

After that experience I couldn't imagine driving an actual exotic. This was plenty of attention for me.

I was pleased yesterday when a friend I see often at the airport decided to get one for himself. As I write this he should be up in the Phoenix area to finish the paperwork and drive it back to Tucson.

I get a lot of "what IS that color?" questions with the space white since it kind of changes with lighting. Had an older gentleman call it beautiful and stunning just minutes after I got a little hate with a "guess you can't hide money, can ya?" comment while charging. They really are a stunning vehicle!

I seem to just blend in here in the “Golden Horsehoe”. One day this week I saw a Genesis GV60, Mercedes EQB, countless Teslas, and a Rivian RIS. I see a few Mach-Es a week.

Still get looks though - tonight at Starbucks the guy walking out right in front of me did a double-take as he walked past.

I get a lot of double-takes and stares. There aren't many Mach E's around my area.

There was a group of guys that circled around my car, while I was still inside it on the phone with work. It was funny to see their "Aha!" moment when they walked around the front and finally realized it was a Mustang.

I also had a dude say my car is really "clean" which I thanked him for because I just washed it the day prior. Turns out I'm not cool and don't know slang any more.

I got coal-rolled 3 times in one trip, if that counts.

Never been coal-rolled, TG. I have gotten compliments and questions from strangers on the car. Glad for the opportunity to be an ambassador for EVs. I love seeing all the EVs— Teslas so I can feel superior about my discernment and everything else because I think it’s an exciting technology.

While the quoted message is true, I’ve received a few compliments and people asking if that’s the electric mustang. Most of my coworkers are happy I didn’t buy another Tesla. We have at least 20 in our parking lot ?
