In “Ford Network “ but not “Plug and Charge”? I had to set up a blink account to use it. So, in network means you can find it, but you’re on your own for charging?

Ford network means you can activate the charger with the Ford app without needing the blink app or making a blink account. But you need to manually activate it in the app.

Plug and charge only works on Electrify America and Tesla.

Thank you! I did it in blink app as a guest. I’ll try to remember the tip when we go round trip to Virginia (2400 miles) thanksgiving week.

Consider joining Electrify America’s Pass Plus or Tesla’s membership. The pay off is like two charges and you’ll charge more than twice. If you get the membership turn OFF plug and charge in the Ford app and activate with the network’s app (EA or Tesla) to get the membership rate.

Also, you might consider traveling off peak. Infrastructure has improved significantly, but I don’t know how well it handles peak travel, like thanksgiving.
