Updates getting really confusing, is this the plan

Starting the vehicle is what gives consent to the OTA trigger to proceed to the download process. If it is an update that requires the vehicle to be inhibited, it will download the update files but not install them? Which OTA is it? Or send me your VIN and I can check the progress of the update.

You were right that’s a lot of stuff to read so like I was saying it says the update was successful and so I looked at the FordPass about 15 minutes later and it said information will be available shortly and I went out to the car and it said the update did not complete and then all of a sudden it said completed so now it’s showing updated in the FordPass so I guess the vehicle definitely has to be on toget that download appreciate all the information. Thank you sorry to hijack this thread as well.
