21/22 EA vehicles not getting the latest updates (FDRS users only)?

If you don't use FDRS or didn't install the IPC update around 01-AUG, ignore this thread.

Out of curiosity, do you know when they pulled the update from FDRS? I went back and verified, and on August 15th I ran FDRS updates while I was in there to enable my frunk - and it appears I missed this IPC update as I have since gotten 5.1.1 and 6.1.0 - They must've had that up for only a short time

The IPC update brings it to the 23 verison. The issue is it was released early access. Updates are sequenced since the iPC update is reporting done the Gateway and APIM have been updated is the logic to Fords servers since those have to be updated for the IPC update to be released.

If your IPC

120 = PJ8T-14C026-BA
188 = PJ8T-14C026-AA

and you dont have PAE for gateway you are going to have delayed updates.

Honestly I think this goes to show that people should wait for them to install OTA and have some patience. FDRS should be used only to correct issues.

Ive had to fix more OTA installs than I have FDRS> 1.7.1 ring any bells. Not to mention the most recent APIM updates incomplete installs. Causing software pulls. MANY OTA issues exist.

Plus this may have been install Via OTA and people dont know yet. Not every mach E owner is on the forum. Some dont join until they have an issue and need help .

21 Job 1 in EA and got 6.1.0 but nothing after that....

If you've gotten 6.1.0, this is not an issue for you. Cars that have the issue wouldn't have even gotten 5.1.1 OTA.

From what I've seen it only got pulled VERY recently as it was still showing as available in cars I was comparing to mine to find out what was broken within the last 2 weeks.

I updated this IPC update July 26th. I didn't do it the first day it came out, but pretty close.
