Getting the Latest Software -- not.

For well over a month I have been getting the same screen on my 2023 Mach-E Premium. It says "Getting the Latest Software Update Status..." but I can sit there for 20 minutes and nothing happens. The last software update I got was in November when I got 10.1.0. My car is set to get automatic updates daily at 3:00 am. Any suggestions what I can do? Or do I need to ask my dealer to do something when I eventually go in for the wiper motor recall?

Same year and model as you, my last software update was November for the 10.1.1 update.

I don't see the icon in the upper right indicating your car is communicating with Ford.

There is a specific fuse you can pull for a few minutes and replace, I don't remember which off hand, or you can disconnect the 12v negative lead from the battery for a couple minutes.

Should make the icon reappear and the check work.

What does that icon look like? Curious because I haven't received an update since September 27th 2024.

When you see that stuck loading for more than just a few seconds or so, or after the car first is turned on, that means sync is not communicating with the GWM and a 12v reset or fuse pull is your best bet to resolving that.
