Ongoing testing…..
but recently the car has been maintaining the 12v system when NOT plugged in…..
Now wondering if having “SecuriAlert” on all the time, can have a negative effect on 12v system…….
Wondering when any OTA updates might be coming for job 2 cars……. Bill Pitman

Hi there. Can you send us a DM with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into this for you.
@Ford Motor Company I have this same issue. I get the 12V battery fault daily and have also had "Electrical System Drain - service required" and another message that I can't remember at the moment. I took to the local dealer who kept the car for two days, said it needed a software update (but the paperwork they returned to me did not mention any update data) and said they couldn't recreate the 12v fault message and it wasn't in the logs so it wasn't something to worry about....
For what its worth, I did not purchase this car from this dealer. The next closest dealer is about 30-40 miles away and is even smaller than our local shop so I don't know what else to do.
Can you help?

The other message that I got said 'Powertrain malfunction/reduced power'....I know because we got it again yesterday. It should be noted that I have noticed ZERO change in power or had any driving or charging issues other than these messages. @Ford Motor Company , I'm hoping you can help me get some resolution.
