Crashed, adios for now.

I just had a crash, my car is semi-totaled. A guy tried to do a u-turn on a one-way major highway, from left shoulder to right shoulder, to try to get back to the fork in the road to another major highway. After I’ve dealt with insurance I will assess my options. I have loved my car, so it might well be another MME.

Get an attorney and see a doctor. The insurance companies will try and screw you over. Yours included. They will be nice and friendly but at the end of the day they will nickel and dime you.

@LaFong depending on your location and your insurance, if any passenger (or you) have any aches or pains, it may entirely change the story regarding insurance if you see a doctor.

If semi-annual means twice annually, then semi-totaled should mean twice totaled...right? ?

I feel bad about your car, but glad that you're (mostly) okay. I'd guess that your car is going to be totaled by insurance.

Seeing the front of your mach-e smashed in like that is painful, but now you probably know how 2025 owners feel about the smaller frunk.

I did go to the ER, and soon my primary physician. I’ll think about attorney’s, might wait for their quote.

I might wait for the full redesign a year plus from now. The engineering lead said a couple of years ago they would try to reduce the plumbing.

They don't get paid until you get a settlement. You can always negotiate the percentage they will get.
