Creating and linking Personal listener and driver profile

How does one create personal listener profiles that can be saved? I've created 2 listener profiles in Synch 4a but they don't seem to have any meaning. Neither of them save station presets or balance and fade settings., so I don't see the point in creating profiles. Balance and fade settings seem to be attached to driver profiles, not listener profiles. What am I doing wrong?

Also, is there a way to link listener and driver profiles so they both load together?
