Cruise control increasing speed since last update

So I checked my speed control settings and, lo and behold, it was set to predictive speed assist, but I never actually did that. Somehow maybe the update switched it? So I switched it back and we'll see what happens.

UPDATE: after finding out that my car was set to predictive speed assist and switching it off, the Adaptive speed control works perfectly now.
