PAAK not working since last update

Since my last update, don't know the number but it is the 1 that places a lovely, useless black static car on my dash display, my PAAK never works. Granted it opens quick with the updated app but I might as well carry the fob and not have to search to take something out of my bag to open the doors. Not sure if it is my old phone, pixel 5, or the car itself. Anyone have these issues? Any tips to get it working?

I would delete your phone from "settings-Phone as a Key" on your Fordpass app and set it up again.

Yeah, I concur.

Start over. Don't try to rescue the existing PAAK config.

Grab a Fob
Grab your phone
Go sit in the car

I removed the settings in Sync related to PAAK.
I removed the PAAK in FordPass

Then simply configured PAAK as if I had never seen it before. Took just a few moments because I already understood the procedure.

It's been steady ever since.

Hopefully you first shut down the phone after closing the Gord Pass app. If you have changed phone since getting your MME then go to the Phone as a Key section in Ford Pass and delete the non active phone(s).

This is a very complicated problem that Ford put on itself. If you're using an iPhone or an android I was told by Ford representatives multiples that if your software was updated on your phone chances of stuff working are very slim fix they stated was to completely delete your application pass and then reinstall it with the new version this will wipe out any settings you have and you have to reset up everything in the car but then everything should work

Deleted my PAAK and started over as you suggested and looks like it is working good, so far. Actually my walk away lock is also working which was sketchy. Thank you so much for your help!
