I have the issue with the front camera fault/pre-collision not available issue that many others here have experienced. I took the car to my dealer and I am currently waiting on parts to come in to get it fixed. In the meantime, I am continuing to drive the car. Originally, the camera fault would come and go. Not surprisingly, that caused issued with the adaptive cruise control. To counter this, I set the cruise control to Normal. It worked fine, at first. Now, the camera fault/pre-collision alert is constant. Yesterday, I tried to set the cruise control and noticed the cruise control won't even turn on, let alone set a speed. Has anyone else experienced this?

My car is doing the same thing. The forward camera fault disabled all cruise control, pre-collision braking, and lane centering. My local shop tried to fix it with software, but that didn’t stick. They will be replacing parts, next week.

Yes, I've NEVER used adaptive cruise control, and the few times I got the camera fault, it wouldn't allow me to set cruise control.

Ford software engineers suck. Why is a useless camera taking out my cruise control???

I have the same problem. It was an intermittent problem for about 2 months and then last week it just stopped working completely. I really miss the BC and adaptive cruise control even though my wife would never let me take my hands off the wheel when she was in the car. :D I made an appointment with my dealer to get it fixed but it is 6 weeks out. I would be curious to know what parts you are getting to fix it so I can tell my dealer upfront. I have about 31,000 miles on the car so this should be a warranty repair. I am curious why ford hasn't issued a recall for this since it seems to be a problem a lot of people are having and certainly affects the safety features of the vehicle.
