There were 2 bundles on the ford site. I got the one that doesn’t have the interior facing infra-red. Ford site does not show model numbers so what I got is Thinkware DC-M1-FG which seems to be the Canadian version of Thinkware F200. Rear camera connects to the front one and the front one is hardwired with the supplied OBD extender (OBD port remains available with other things). Included SD card was 16gb which I replaced with 128gb.

yes it could have been cheaper elsewhere but I wanted the install through ford dealer. In the other thread someone stated that it has sync4 interface…..well it does not! Everything is through the mobile app so if you want to change settings or view the recordings then you have to connect the camera app via the camera WiFi. For this to seamlessly work, you have to turn off Apple CarPlay otherwise it keeps trying to take over the connection. Recording quality is fine (1080p). I tried parking mode but started getting messages about battery drain so turned it off but I can easily turn it back on if I was going to park somewhere where I wanted that.

hope that helps…

Thanks, I had the Rexing installed and kept getting the electrical drain message so I finally Uninstaller it. I thought the Ford cam would be better but everything seems like a drain. Thanks

Here is a How To video that may be of assistance. Good luck! You got this!

I have the the Thinkware DC-M1-FG installed by the dealer in my F150 Hybrid with the OBD II connection. Sometimes while I am driving the dashcam will go into parking mode. I contacted Thinkware support and they told me that the OBD II connection will not work for hybrids and EVs. Instead you have to do the hardwire connection.
