I'm having this issue/condition where I come up to a stoplight or stop sign and when I take my foot off the brake and move over to the accelerator, the brakes hold on for another 2-3 seconds before releasing. This results in a very jerky startup when pressing the accelerator. I do not have the brake hold feature enabled. If I do a rolling stop, or stop and release immediately, there's no delay on the release and acceleration from the stop is very smooth. Does anyone else experience this? Anything I can change or just another software issue?

I think it is just a software issue. My car was doing that right after the 3.5.2 and 3.5.3 OTA. It seemed to clear up after 2 or 3 days. Becoming less frequent as each day passed.

Hopefully yours returns to normal very soon.

That behavior sure sounds like Brake Hold. Are you sure it didn’t switch to a profile that does have Brake Hold enabled?

Sounds like you have one pedal drive enabled.

Drive mode is Engage. One pedal drive is not enabled and the hold feature is not enabled.

Do a sync reboot, there’s some weird stuff happening after some of the updates install like 3.5.4, a setting might be stuck. I wasn’t able to turn off the 30 minute shutdown timer after it installed cause the option was completely gone until I did a sync reboot.

If you wait that 2-3 seconds, the brakes will release and the creep will start the rollout and then pressing the accelerator results in a smooth start.

Correct. Same for me. First thing I checked was the Brake Hold setting and it was off. I also checked my profiles because those are now random. I confirmed Brake Hold was off in each profile so I don't really know why the car suddenly started doing that. Luckily it went away after some diving.

Yep. That is a great description.

Good idea. That does seem to help minimize some of the symptoms. My car was asking me to check on the passengers in the rear seat but then I remembered there was a setting for that. Sure enough, once I disabled it then the messages stopped appearing. I checked it for all profiles since I never know which profile the car is going to use for any particular trip.

Good morning! If you send over your VIN and Ford Dealer info via DM, I can look into your braking concern on my end.
