...boosting it from 30% to 80% -- a good operating range -- takes five or six hours.

I really wish these types of stories would caveat the L2 speeds and then explain L2 vs L3 - the uninitiated will read this and think it takes five or six hours to recharge an EV.

Sigh.

“The only disadvantage pointed out is, because it’s a smaller cabin, the taller officers were not comfortable in it,” she said.

What the Dunkin Donuts is that? What are these people eating? Are these officers from the land of giants? This forum is full, absolutely brimming with complaints and I've never seen a single person, from petite to American, cite the cabin size as an issue.

You have to realize that in uniform you wear all that crap on your belt (Gun, Taser, Walkie, Camera, Baton, etc.) the vest, and everything attached to the vest. Things can get a little crampy.

There are also no Dunkin Donuts in WA. There is a store in North Seattle that was clearly once a Dunkin Donuts but has clearly been repurposed. If you want Donuts, you have to go to Top Pot ?.

In the 70s there were Dunkin Donuts in the Seatle area, I remember going to one in West Seattle.

Yes, but those things would mostly present a need for a wide hip and shoulder space, and the complaint specifically mentioned height. I'm not the tallest guy around, but at 6 feet even I have been in cars that I simply wouldn't be able to drive because they were designed for smaller people than that. In the Mach-E, however, I literally have about 6 inches of space above the top of my head. Maybe an inch or two less in the metal-roofed variety with a headliner. They must have several officers who are at least 6'4" (with much of that height in the torso) for this to be an issue worth mentioning.

I’m 5’10” and have ample room but I do find the seat a little high. I noticed it right away when I test drove it. I find I’m looking out the top part of the windshield rather than the middle like most other cars. Just something different that took a little getting use to.

I have to partially agree here --- I think someone pointed out the gear that is worn by the average PO which I can't speak to --- but I am 6'7" and fit nicely in the MME once I actually get in. Plenty of leg and headroom and the seat adjusts pretty far aft, seat form feels great, BUT getting in and out does feel a little tight. I can't say that's anything specifically with the MME - I think tall folks always have to fold themselves up getting in and out of anything that's not a larger class SUV or truck or you know, the ubiquitous Crown Vic.

The seated roominess of the MME was one of the selling points for me, FWIW. So back to the original post I don't think it's cabin size per se, but the MME transition in and out for a tall person to me feels a bit tighter than other similar vehicles.

Personally, even at just 5'-7", I wish the seats went back further and up higher. I have long legs, but a short torso...??‍♀
