We are aware of battery degradation but my hope here is is drivetrain life.
Had a good discussion about drained obsolescence yesterday. A good example being Ford using plastic thermostat housings and valve guides in small displacement engines the wear out, water pumps behind timing chains. Seems that vehicles built in the last decade are 150k and done.
I am hoping to avoid this with the drivetrain of the MachE, being early BEV maybe the bean counters have not yet had enough time to engineer in cost savings at the price of longevity.
In my mind it makes me think being an early adopter could be a benefit.
