State of Washington set 2030 as the date that ends the sale of new ICE cars. Washington State Plans to Ban Sales of Gasoline Cars after 2030 (caranddriver.com) This is a car forum, not a political forum, but these arbitrary dates really bother me. What prevents the next group of lawmakers from changing the date to 2050 or beyond! These deadlines do no favors for consumers, manufacturers, and innovation. Issues with range, charging, and lack of infrastructure, etc. will eventually be resolved and BEVs will evolve on their on their own fruition. Thank you for letting me vent.
