That's only a PAAK thing right? So if you're not using PAAK you wouldn't have it anyway as I believe.

It is interesting that the car's OTA removed the buttons of the app and not just made them inoperational.
My android phone has FP 5.4.0 since Aug.6th, and the last OTA was in April. The window buttons are still there and work.

When I answered earlier, I still had the function. tonight I saw that I got that update so I went outside to test it. And I still have the function that worked fine.

FYI, mine was gone but now it’s back. Ford reached out to me this afternoon via private message here and asked for some specifics about my MME. Within a few hours, it was back.

truth be told, I don’t use it but it was interesting that it left but even more interesting that it’s back now.

Lost window controls after OTA ECG-24.2.4.10 on 8/30/2024

Mine got this one today while at the dealer for the yearly state safety inspection. Using iOS 17.6.1 and the windows, trunk and frunk opening are still in the app’s Bluetooth button.

OK, sounds like they fixed the issue on their servers so the buttons are showing up again. Reboot your phone and try again.

Ford also reached out to me via PM. They asked me if I had talked to my preferred service center since this issue happened (update happened Saturday when service center was closed and they were also closed Sunday and Monday… really Ford social media? Think about what you told me to do and when things are open on a holiday weekend) anyway, they told me I should get my Mach E into the service center right away regarding this issue and that if there’s no warranty or recall work necessary I would be required to pay for service. Before they told me this, the controls returned in the app. The Ford account here is just a social media outreach account. Not sure they really are connected to anything that’s going on. That’s my experience at least.
