@Ford Motor Company please introduce a distance per percent (I'm in Canada so km/%) viewing option in "This Trip" and Trip 1/2.

I realize that every other car manufacturer has the current usage calculators but I'll argue for larger adoption and easier "real-time" calculations a simpler method is required.

We all know the range estimate is ok but it's based on past performance to predict future range and is not "real-time"

In an ICE world the gas tank never changes capacity, say it always 60 litres (15 gallons), in BEV world, that capacity is always degrading (albeit slowly) so we never really know what our current maximum Kwh is of our battery pack. Due to that fact, with the current values available to see in the cockpit (either % battery, mileage/kwh or wh/km) you don't have a proper baseline to calcualte from and you have to do at least 2 steps to calculate your range remaining.

So I see two solutions: you can either display as an option Kwh remaining (toggle on/off instead of %battery) but this option will open the door to a tonne of customer questions and complaints or give a distance per percent calculation which is a single easy math problem to solve.

I hope to see km/% in a future OTA update!

Current challenge: Information available to me: 65% battery left, "This trip" usage at 5km/kwh...how far can I go?

Now I have to figure out Kwh remaing in battery=91kwhX65%=59.15Kwh [Step 1] then I have to multiply by 5(KM) [Step 2]to figure out range=295KM
But if my battery has degraded and I don't know it then the actual range is: 87kwh (degraded battery)X65%=56.55 then multiply by 5(km) =282KM
So as you can see with the current display options availabel you can't actually get an accurate range calculation.

But if we had KM/% then the math is simple let's say im getting 4KM/% and I have 65% remaining=4X65=260KM

The solution I propose would also take into account battery degradation etc because the KM travelled per % would reduce automatically.
