I’m sure your vinyl plate, like my vinyl wrap, doesn’t inhibit the radar sensors. It’s the metal plate causing the interference. Kinda bummed that I wasted the money, but it was an experiment. They don’t all work out.That's very strange. I am using a vinyl replica for my front plate, which probably reduces the chances of interference compared with an aluminum plate. If you like the bracket, you could try that.
