When the MachE is connected to an L2 charger. Else you will get
Ford Mustang Mach-E Don’t press the start button continuously C7310A63-0E98-4AA6-985B-7D96B0F4D482

And it won’t clear until you un plug and plug back the charger.

found this moment of panic while trying to program the extra key that I got. After about 5 failed attempts, the car displayed “stop safely now” even though I wasn’t even driving. Ford pass got a charging fault notification.

silly me. Glad it fixed itself.

Yes, cycling on and off too many times will overheat the precharge resistor in the HVBJB and will set a SSN like that.

Hmm, so this will happen even when the car is not plugged in? I’ve yet to be successful in programming the key fob… so….

If you watch the charger when key on is pressed it resets the charger.

Key programming only takes 3 cycles though, 5 seconds apart. Given the way the charger resets on key on, I wouldn't do it connected to it.
