I got this warning message for the first time today we’ve owned the car since November and it has performed flawlessly…

I assume this is having something to do with the mag suspension. We typically drive it in the unbridled tune.

not really looking forward to a trip to the service department… has anyone else seen this warning or know anything about it?

I get this any time I mess with the suspension. It has gone away without intervention each time. Have you recently driven on an extremely bumpy road? Dropped a wheel to its maximum extension? Compressed a corner to its bump stop? Had any suspension work done? ??

Had it happen twice. Was just a random bug and went away when I restarted the car.

When I drove with the fault, Mag ride was absolutely NOT working though. Car bounced 3-4x after every bump. Felt like a school bus with worn out shocks. Was kinda funny…….only because it went back to normal.

Took a video and posted here when it happened-

Saw that once when it got SUPER cold. Cleared itself.

Thanks, everyone for your advice! I’ll let you know if it pops up again …it’s raining cats and dogs outside and I’m not inclined to go out and check the pony now
??

just had this happen on my 2023 gtpe with 10500 miles. we will see if it resolves. rode like an old cadillac!

nope same error on startup and no driving modes selectable but at least this time the suspension was somewhat stiff. time for a visit to the dealer.

they are saying they need to replace the VDM, which of course is backordered indefinitely. you'd think that the slowdown in sales would have led to a slowdown in car production, which might have freed up some components, but i guess not.

I started getting this intermittent Driver Selectable Suspension Fault recently, it would go away but I was feeling guilty that something was on its way out.

I took the car in today for service for the charging port CSP, and mentioned this other issue, it turns out that there's TSB 24-2012 for it. It's a bug for a specific combination of modules software.

Here's a macheforum.com thread about this TSB.
