I went to look at parts for the Mach-e to see if any suppliers have figured out aftermarket equivalent dampers and discovered the following
There are different part numbers for AWD and RWD for the front suspension.
There are different part numbers based on battery size for the rear suspension.
Trying to piece this all together and understand the vehicle load capacity and weights; but the only vehicle I have access to is my own extended range premium awd which has the following specification for load/weight.
Premium 4x Extensed range:
Max vehicle load: 918lbs
Gvwr: 5800lbs
Gvwr front: 2660lbs
Gvwr rear: 3225lbs
I would really appreciate it if other members can post the numbers from their door labels for other models.
My goal would be to have this thread contain the information on all the following configurations (let me know if I missed any; leaving out the GT with performance package)
Ca. Rt-1
Select RWD
Select AWD
Premium Standard Range RWD
Premium Extended Range RWD
Premium Standard Range AWD
Premium Extended Range AWD (Already have this info)
GT
Reasoning for this data:
1.) Understand the potential vehicle max load if the rear dampers are switched.
2.) Potentially modeling the suspension if spring rates and damping ratio can be found.
