Haven't seen anybody post about this but yesterday when playing in FORSCAN I found an "Eco Coach" which was pretty subtle but useful. Basically, in Engage mode, your speedometer is Green if you are accelerating or braking in an eco-friendly way. Additionally, there appear two triangles on either side of your speed like so

> 60 <

which migrate up/down based on decel/accel to show you if you're moving in/out of eco range.

It's pretty slick and also turns on an option in Settings to enable/disable it. I'll try and get pictures today.

I personally don’t like the eco coach stuff.

I’m an Unbridled one pedal guy.

Having a driving Nanny is the last thing I want or need.

I like to just get in my Mach and drive as I want…

If you’re into that feedback, great. It’s not for me.

I'm sure I'll edge that way as well but for now it's an economy thing for our family, esp since we share the car and try to drive it everywhere due to high cost of gas.
Since our other car is a gasser, I'm also wary of getting too used to things like 1-pedal for fear I'll hop in that one and rear-end somebody, lol. But, I have tried it out and didn't hate it at all! Once we're all EV or at least rarely drive the gasser, I'm sure I'll turn it on.

I get why you like it.

I’m retired and don’t have a commute.

In a little over a year I only have 2,300 miles on my Mach.

That’s 2,300 miles of smiles on my face ??

Just a personal preference for me…

Can you point to where this setting is in Forscan? Thanks!

It was in the APIM module - search for "coach" and turn on the one that says "eco coach in go mode"

That turns it on -if I remember right there's an additional option to turn on the Setting as well so you can toggle it via the center panel.

What if she's a cute nanny?

Good find. I don't have your "Always show Odometer" option either, so time to play around in the latest Forscan again.

I turned these both on, but it gave me an error message.
I assumed "Eco Mode" was "Whisper", maybe someone else will have better luck.

I'll probably turn this off after awhile since it really just says "don't floor it to save power" but I'm glad you were poking around in Forscan and found it. There's still a ton of other options I didn't feel brave enough to try, but good to document these.

When you floor it the arrows move down and the numbers go back to black (from green)

Not really even sure what it does because my odometer's always showing anyway ??‍♂
