I was on a 90-minute drive home today on a winding mountain road. I have driven the same road before without issue. Today 30 minutes into the drive, a message appeared at the top of the screen (with a tone) saying "drive mode not supported" and before I could divert my attention from the road, it scrolled up and off the screen. In the future, what can I do to retrieve the error message when I can safely do so to understand the issue? Also... about 2 minutes later, another message on the screen said 'cannot connect to xxx's iPhone, yet it was connected (wirelessly) via CarPlay and playing music from the iPhone which did not stop. What causes it to say 'cannot connect' when it is, in fact, connected and transferring data (music)?? Before you reply, and FYI, the first question is a safety issue that I need to understand, the second is just another anomaly to tuck away in the 'stupid things my Mach-E does that I can't explain' file.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts on what this error might be/might have been.

Hello, Barry! Send us a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your local Ford dealer. I’d be happy to see what I can do to assist with this concern. Thanks!
