I tripped across a data export feature in the Emporia App. I think a few of us have one.
It exports data to a csv file and sends you a link so you can download it. I exported from the time I got the device (end of Feb., 2023) to now.
The zip file had five files, with breakdowns by day, hour, 15 min, 1min and 1 sec(!) levels of detail.
A few interesting things. The minute and second files petered out after about 10,000 rows - they were different lengths, which was interesting. Those two covered less than a day.
The second thing was that there's a consistent connection test charge(?) when I plug in, which is usually between 8 and 9 at night. My best rate is between midnight and 6:00, which is when I charge. This is from the 15 min file, so timing is rounded to the nearest 15 min mark..

Finally, they present different units of data in the different files.
If I compare the daily report for a date against the 15 minute report:
The 15 min file has a header of:
Time Bucket (America/Los_Angeles),garage-EV (kWatts)
03/08/2023 00:00:00,9.0963
03/08/2023 00:15:00,9.7450
03/08/2023 00:30:00,9.7423
03/08/2023 00:45:00,9.7427
03/08/2023 01:00:00,8.7038
03/08/2023 21:00:00,0.0008
03/08/2023 21:30:00,0.0002
The 1 day file has a header of:
Time Bucket (America/Los_Angeles),garage-EV (kWhs)
