Equalizer always puts bass at lowest setting

Heya! I have a curious problem. After I started using Android Auto, my car defaults to lowest level of bass in the equalizer settings. This forces me to reset audio setting each time I want to listen to music, regardless if Android Auto or the radio. Anyone know a fix?

I found if you reset your eq using the reset button to make everything flat, then change settings to your liking, it will change back next time you start the car. If you change the eq manually to what you want, it will stay there the next time you get in. I’m in the u s and use an iphone, not sure if that’s relevant or not.

Im guessing they figured people would use the same eq most of the time, but when a certain song or source needed more or less of something you could adjust on the fly without having to remember where you normally have it set. Glad it worked.
