Since I was planning on a trip, I wanted to charge to 100% from 71% using my 40A charger. Usually it would report a few hours to complete, but that day it said it would take 36 hours. Since I have a meter prior to the Grizzl-e I knew the initial rate was 9.6KW/H which is normal. In reality, it only took a few hours to "top off". After returning from the trip, I plugged it in again at 26% and that was on Saturday evening. The app reports it will take until Tuesday afternoon to get to 85%. What??!! over 2 days??!! Of course it completed over night. I reported it to Ford. Next update will hopefully fix it.

I have never had that extreme of a discrepancy, but have always noted that how long it said it was going to take to charge was longer than it actually took.

I don't know what the hell is going on with MME charging, but it certainly seems borked for many. I have my home charger set at 32A so I personally haven't encountered what some seem to at 40A and 50A.

I have the same issue with my 240 line. I just decided to ignore the time on the app.

I think the app assumes that I have a level 1 charger for the estimates. I don't see anywhere to tell it that I have a level 2 charger at home.

I had one of these recently. 100% was going to take over 24 hours. When I changed the target to 95% it said charging would be done by morning.

I think the app will estimate based on the current charge rate. I've been affected by the fluctuating charge rate issue (bouncing between 11kw and 8kw) and if I look at the app when it's charging at 11kw, it gives me one estimate, a few minutes later when it's at 8kw, it will change the estimated completion time.
In either case, the estimated completion time is usually 1-2 hours after it actually finishes charging. (For example if the estimate completion time is 5pm, it'll usually finish between 3 and 4 pm.)
