Eversource offers a "Connected Solutions Program" when you use a JuiceBox for home charging. I believe if you sign up your JuiceBox with the program you get a $300 rebate and then Eversource dictates the time(s) you can charge your car. (I can't find the exact details at the moment because the Eversource website is acting up) Anyhow, I submitted an "application" via Enel X (aka JuiceBox) two weeks ago. I got an email from Enel X "Thanks for submitting your application for the EverSource Connected Solutions program for your home EV charger. EverSource will contact you via email to confirm when your application has been approved or rejected."

I've heard nothing since. Has anyone been "approved" for this program? If so, how long did it take before you heard back from Eversource?

My ecobee thermostat recently asked me to enroll in the "Connected Solutions Program". Same idea as the car charger, they can dictate times to turn down your AC, but you can override if you have a moment where you really need to feel cooler. $25 to enroll and $20 per thermostat at the end of each summer. I was accepted into the program 1-2 days after enrolling.

I looked into the Juicebox option that falls under the same Eversource program and decided it wasn't a good deal. The $300 rebate is a onetime incentive they pay over a couple years to you. However, the charger I ended up getting cost more that $300 less than a Juicebox, so it doesn't make economic sense to buy into that program.

Eversource needs to get a little more advanced such that off-peak electricity is billed at a discount to me. If that was part of the program, I may have considered it.

I decided to get the Juice Box because of eligibility for both the federal tax credit and this Eversource program. If you need to have an electrician come do work for whatever charger your using it's worth running the numbers.

my charge point is on the list. I've been rejected multiple times, no idea why. I will still get the rebate on it but i'm giving up on eversource...it's not like they are going to charge less per Kwh on their program...
