TLDR; While I love my Mach -E, the wife thinks its too big for her to drive (she has driven Smart cars and a Mini Cooper Convertible lately) so we have been hunting for a BEV to suit her needs. We tried ordering a 23' Chevy Bolt EV, the price was great and still had a Delaware rebate but the dealer was hard set on a 2k markup. After a month checked mack in with the dealer for an approximate eta and was told the car has not been ordered yet since their allotment was full of Covettes and Suburbans.
I cancelled that order and started calling around for a Nissan Leaf and we hit the jackpot! Foulkner Nissan in PA has several new 23' leafs coming in over the next few weeks and there were a couple unspoken for yet. My wife picked out a white SV Plus and we were all set to drive to the dealership to put a deposit down and the salesman suggested a phone deposit to avoid the 60 mile trip.
After just five days the salesman called and said the car was in and we can come down on Saturday (yesterday) to finish the deal. We drove the wifes Mini to see what they would offer for a trade and the MATCHED the Carmax offer we had previously had.
The salesman showed us the car, all the features and said here's the keys and take it for a spin while we finish up tour paperwork. The wife was happy and that made me happy so when we returned the salesman directed us to the "Finance guy" even though we were paying cash.
The Finance guy was very quick, explained the extended service plan, (declined for now) had all our paperwork ready and we were done in 10 minutes! Total time including test drive was just under two hours!
Oh and here is the kicker! they sell everything at msrp! no haggling no upsell, nothing.
And I forgot to mention, the dealership was packed with people buying and the lot was filled with new and used cars to sell.
The best experience I ever had buying a new car!
