I did the same coating with mine, (PPF on the fro and cramic coated the rest) as I had two small paint chips appear on the hood with less than 200 miles on it. Just realize that with PPF, you can't use a car wash other than a "touchless" one. Had I known, I think I would have just ceramic coated the whole car and not used PPF. I live in a cold climate where the roads are often salted and there aren't many of those car washes around. I wash it myself when the weather allows.
Good luck with the newbie! Still loving mine after almost 2 years. Best and most fun car I've ever owned!

Great!

Welcome to the clan👍

Hope you enjoy it.

Would’ve had something sportier than the Premium RWD if I didn’t really need best range possible for c30k miles per year working it hard & fully loaded.

Mines 55 mths old with almost 122,000 miles and apart from the recalls on HVBJB, screen & Pano roof plus warranty work on rear wheel bearing clicking sound and rear parking looms I’ve had a rear door catch fail which Ford contributed as out of warranty and I invested in FSH and lately the PTC failure which I don’t think is bad for a new to market car & EV tech I’m more than happy with mine.

Just retired in August, mileage dropped off a cliff so testing it as a low miler now, see which one of us dies first 😬

I would assume pressure washing is a no go with PPF
