First EV car need some suggestions.

I just received my first GT EV . I had some questions about in-home charging I put in the two 4050 amp circuit directly to my panel which works flawlessly I have some questions on extension cords and if there's any special set up that I need to make to have the home charging experience better with the existing for charger I thought I'd give that a try to see how that works out before I venture out into a third-party vendor does anybody have any suggestions working with the Ford charger I know there's a iOS out there to monitor the charger but I wondered if there are any special settings inside the car to make things work better when charging at home any help would be appreciated.
