After receiving the update for plug and charge with Tesla I was anxious to try it out. Last night was my first time to need to do so. I can say it went flawlessly! I plugged in and I initially didn't think anything was happening, I opened the Tesla App and chose the stand I was plugged into and it said I wasn't able to charge there. I closed and tried again and same error. I then open the Ford app and it indicated I was charging! I didn't see the usual graphic on the dash indicating charging but when I got out of the vehicle I could hear the charger going and the blue lights on the charging ring were on. So if I would have just opened the Ford app I would have seen everything was good to go. I have had a real hard time disconnecting my Lectron adapter from the Tesla cable in the past, but this time I pushed the disconnect button on the Mustang charge port and waited 10-15 seconds and could hear the charger spooling down. The plug came out on the first attempt. In the past it has taken my 5-10 mins struggling and even asking for help from a Tesla owner. Overall a great experience so nice to have that Tesla option, even though I don't like given Tesla any of my money.
