Hi Everyone, I can't get the fitcam to fit properly. Whenever I clip in the last clip, the one metal clip in the front right area, this gap opens up. I routed the cable carefully to avoid pinching. Anyone else having problems?

A number of us used a heat gun to warp the housing in order to close that gap. See the main FitcamX thread. I believe you can use a hair dryer but it will take longer. I over-corrected mine and had to loosen it back up. 🤪🐩

I have once done the heat gun trick to my wife's Camry B pillar trim to eliminate a gap. You basically can mold any plastic to any shape you want, but just don't over heat it or you'll ruin its surface pattern.

I’m not smart about this stuff. Can you explain how to use the heat gun to bend it correctly? Just heat and bend by hand? Any tips for a total noob? Thanks.
