Flaking steering wheel button

This started happening yesterday. I guess I use my cruise control too much. 7300 miles.

The sad part is I'm half tempted to just live with it or order one and do it myself just so I don't have to waste time at the dealer...

Anyone else?

Sad that happened so quickly!
I would get it fixed under warranty, and carefully scrutinize the other buttons as well.

You might want to check how easy it is to get that part - it may not be available separately, and only as part of a larger assembly. That seems to be the trend on newer vehicles - have to buy the $100 part to get the $1 part that needs to be replaced.
