New owner here. Is the Ford network as useless as it seems? I have tried a dozen times to activate Plug and Share on Ford.com but it always says No Connected Services found. I assume from that that the FordPass app will be useless at EA charging stations?

You need to activate it in the Ford Pass app on your phone, not online.

For us, Plug and Charge works great. Just completed a trip from TN to MD and back to TN. Used P&C 5 times on the trip and it worked flawlessly each time. We used the remainder of our Ford free kWh so the trip was cost free as far as charging went. Used EA exclusively, found a few stations out of order at each location but was able to charge easily.

It was really nice to just plug in and the charge session would start. Not sure that I'll go forward with Fords plan as we don't use DCFC enough to justify the monthly fee. Likely just activate an EA account during the times we will be traveling and cancel afterwards
