Ford Connected Charge station back order?

Hi all,

New MME 2023 premium owner here. I ordered my connected charge station using the discount code from Ford but then received an email that it’s on back order. Does anyone have info on how long that is likely to take?

note: this is not the Tesla adapter, this is for the Ford Connected Charge station for at home charging.

As a FCCS owner, I can attest to the fact that there are better EVSEs available at lower prices. Unless your discount is enormous and you can afford to wait, I’d cancel and get something else.

It’s funny as heck that I was just looking at my utility’s web site and the only EVSEs they’re offering a rebate on are the Ford Connected Charge Station and the Pro (80A) station. There are good EVSEs out there that I could buy from a box store for less than the net of either Ford EVSE after the rebate. ?‍?

The physical Level 2 charging station. Email confirmation just says it’s back ordered.

Argh. May wanna call Ford but I’m guessing they will tell you the same. When I was getting my adapter it said end of April then end of May. Came beginning of June. Good luck!

Did you negotiate a free charger in your purchase?

No, it was offered standard by Ford. Not sure if it was a monthly incentive that changed. For eg, I did not get the 250kwh charging allowance at EA.
