It's a good thing somebody's watching my 12V. Thanks Ford.

About to resurrect a new and improved driving app for the Mach-E (and the Lightning) and have never seen a reference to the LVB SOH anywhere. But that could actually happen, as I rarely take my fob with me anymore. I guess it's best just to keep a close eye on the LVB SOH and proactively get it replaced.

I can tell you I will be very cautious about pulling the left and right beauty panels on either side of the frunk from now on when it's cold out...last year I pulled the left side to connect up the power supply to do an update, and because it was cold outside one of the supports that a clip seats into snapped completely off the underside of the panel. I was in a highly modified state of rapture because I'd taken great pride in making sure not to lose any clips, or break anything up to that point. But that plastic can get very brittle when it's cold.Got the bill for my battery replacement via Mobile Service today...$268.62.
I'm OK with that, especially because I didn't have to take the car in to the dealer and I didn't have to work outside in frigid weather to replace it myself.
That being said, I'll probably do it myself next time - it really did look pretty easy. I did cringe, however, every time the guy pulled off a trim piece and it made a horrible sound like it was breaking in two![]()
Out of curiosity did that mobile tech know to reset the BMS or say anything about it? I have a feeling some techs may not realize they have to do that.Got the bill for my battery replacement via Mobile Service today...$268.62.
