Ford Nav Auto Navigating to a location

I know this has been discussed as a bug in various threads, but couldn't find on specifically for this and if there was any fix.

Ford's built in navigation will decide randomly to automatically navigate to a recent location and then take over the IPC and mess with CarPlay. This happened before a couple of times but haven't had the issues until this week where it's done it 3 times already. I'm on the latest 4.2.4 and wondering if has something to do with departure and comfort being set (recently got it set up and actually saving a departure time).

Anyone know of any fixes? A reboot while en route didn't even cancel/reset the destination.

Haven't had this experience myself, but always recommend with bugs like this that you:

• Add Ford to your question @Ford Motor Company so they can track aberrations like this one.
• Consider contacting customer service. I've found that they are, unfortunately, mostly clueless about EVs and especially the software that controls them. Still, it's yet another way to get focus on what you're experiencing.

I think that is "Destination Suggestions", which is also called "Predictive Destinations" in the manual. I turned it off but I believe it got turned back on after my last update, so I had to turn it off again. It's in the navigation settings under User Data according to the manual.

I had this happen yesterday, the setting for suggested destinations was turned on for some reason. One of the many Ford Sync bugs that keep returning.
