Welcome to having a MME ?. I have had this happen a few times and it is never predictive or a destination I have been in the past. I seriously hope it’s a bug, otherwise some designer needs to be fired.

Mine does it regularly, never a destination I actually go or have gone to, but generally a business located near by. I always presumed it is a paid advertisement type item ?‍♂

My advice?

Don’t use a motor manufacturer’s sat nav, they’re generally shite!

IMO I will add before the trollsters hit their keyboards with caps lock on shouting at me?

Let a motor manufacturer make cars.

Let sat nav manufacturer’s make sat nav.

You wouldn’t go to a motor manufacture to fix your teeth??‍♂

Apple maps is the best, again IMO, as I am an old fart 62 who is dead happy with the live mapping and routing/re-routing reflecting live traffic condition data and other features for more than a quarter of a million miles under my belt just using Apple Maps.

Am not an Applewanker but credit where credit’s due?

Another data point, fwiw: I always use Apple CarPlay and Maps, but I also gets this occasional “help” from the Ford nav despite having all those Ford nav settings off.

I'm almost always using car built-in navigation. Google maps work fine, I think only once I had a problem with lost signal. I suppose the GPS receiver in the phone is weaker than in the car. But the bigger problem is that BT audio doesn't work at the same time as Android Auto, and I usually listen to podcasts when driving.
I didn't have much problems with the car navigation. Only once it navigated to a place 1/2 mile away from the actual address. The thing I don't like is that when using voice command entering destination it doesn't show the address (unless there many to select from) and starts navigating. Sometimes it makes stupid mistakes, like recently it started navigating to a destination 50 miles away instead of the same name just few miles away. Sometimes it starts navigating to a similarly sounding address.
